Who has to apply RoHS?
Due to the recast of the RoHS Directive, there are almost no exceptions anymore. The categories of electrical and electronic equipment affected by this directive can be found in Annex 1 of the Directive. It affects manufacturers, sellers, distributors and recyclers of electrical and electronic equipment containing mercury, cadmium, lead, chromium VI, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE).
